Mossy Tree in Sunshine

Western Oregon is a true temperate rainforest. The rainfall comes from offshore winds hurling moisture up against the Cascade Mountains. It’s a perfect formula for mossy trees, like this one. I was lucky to catch it on a clear day when the moss was lit up by sunshine.
