The Cliffs of Kachemak Bay

Recently I started painting in a more abstract fashion. I love the in-your-face color and wild expression in this style. This painting comes from a photo I took while on vacation in Alaska with my family. We loved walking on the beach of Kachemak Bay at low tide. Cliffs above, rocks and starfish below, mountains in the distance… it was pure Alaska!
