River in New Mexico

My wife and I traveled to Santa Fe in 2014. Upon checking in to the hotel, we asked about hiking in the region. The woman at the desk asked where we were from. We said Michigan. She just chuckled and told us not to hike until we became accustomed to the elevation. We had no idea that the elevation was 7,000 feet. After a few days we got in a great hike and caught this view.
