Salt Point, Sonoma

Salt Point State Park in Sonoma County California contains some of the most interesting rock formation I’ve ever seen. Remains of ancient lava flows have eroded to show bubbles and tide pools full of life. In this drawing, the Pacific crashes into one of the many inlets formed by the lava.
